RedStar Poker review. The most popular skin of the iPoker network in the CIS

RedStar Poker was founded in 2005 and has come a long way since then.  Initially, the room was part of the Cake network (later known as Revolution Gaming), where it reached peak traffic of about 13,000 connections.

In 2013, due to the network's financial difficulties, the room moved to the Microgaming Poker Network.  And since 2020, the room has been part of the iPoker network, one of the largest in the world, which has allowed it to expand its audience and improve the quality of its service.

The main lobby is divided into categories: cash games, fast poker, Sit&Go, multi-table tournaments, and Twister tournaments.

There are also separate tabs for favorites and current games. Users have access to advanced filters: choice of limit, game type (Texas Hold'em, Omaha, etc.), game speed, and currency (including USD and EUR). The settings allow you to display only available tables, mark favorites, and save search templates.

The online platform offers an adapted mobile application that retains the full structure of the lobby. The interface is adapted for touch control, and the functionality replicates the desktop version: tournaments, cash games, filters, shop, missions. A browser-based mobile version is also available for devices without the installed application.

Each table in the list displays key parameters: buy-in size, average pot, chips per table, and the number of hands per hour. Hovering over a table allows you to quickly get information about the current dynamics and available seats.

The lobby provides access to a built-in ticket and bonus shop, personal achievement statistics, a mission system, and access to the VIP program. There is a "Cashier" section with instant access to deposit and withdrawal options. The built-in promotions panel informs about current tournaments and offers.

RedStar Poker offers the main poker disciplines. Available in the lobby are:

4. Satellites to major iPoker series (e.g., iPoker Festival);
5. Mission series and rake races, credited through tournaments with entry conditions.

Formats include freezeouts, rebuys, knockouts, and progressive knockouts (PKO).

In the cash games section there are tables with different limits:

• Buy-ins from $0.01$/0.02$ to $5$/10$ and higher;
• 6-max and full-ring;
• Filtering by currency, limit;
• Ability to play at several tables simultaneously (multitabling);
• High level of activity at low and medium limits.

There is also Speed Poker format - accelerated games with instant transfer to a new table after a fold.

The average number of players online is about 800–950, while during peak hours this figure can reach 1450.

In general, iPoker sees up to 7,000 active users during prime time.

RedStar Poker uses the weighted contributed model.  Rake is taken only when the flop is seen.  The rake structure depends on the limits and the number of players at the table.

For limit games, the rake is from €0.01 for every €0.25 in the pot, with a maximum rake from €0.04 to €3.00, depending on the limit and the number of participants.

In multi-table tournaments, the commission is up to 10% of the buy-in, while in events with a buy-in of €200, the commission can be reduced to 5%.

Bonus program

Up-to-date information on the rake structure and loyalty program can be found on the official website in the "Rake Structure" and "Loyalty Program" sections.  Currently, a two-tier loyalty program is offered:

⏺️ "Red" Level: the basic level, available to everyone.  Every 50 points (Status Points) can be exchanged for €1, which is equivalent to 20% rakeback;

⏺️ "Star" Level: achieved by accumulating 5000 points during a calendar month.  At this level, the exchange rate is 29 points for €1, which corresponds to 35% rakeback.

A first deposit bonus is also offered — 200% up to €2000.  The bonus is paid out at €2 for every 200 points, which is equivalent to an additional 10% rakeback.  More information can be obtained from our manager.

Transactions at RedStar Poker are available via cards, e-wallets, and cryptocurrencies. The list of services and limits may vary depending on the user's location and chosen currency.

Withdrawal fees are present for all methods and range from 0.5% to 7%, depending on the service. The exact fee amount is displayed during the confirmation stage of the request. When withdrawing small amounts, it may be possible to complete the transaction without mandatory identification.

RedStar Poker, as part of iPoker, supports the use of popular poker trackers, including: Holdem Manager 3 and PokerTracker 4.

These programs allow you to collect and analyze hand histories, as well as display a HUD (Heads-Up Display) with basic statistical indicators. While HUD usage is permitted, there are certain restrictions, especially for Hand2Note.
